The Ken Burns Effect

As a longtime fan of Ken Burns' work I am always fascinated at how he can make old photos more interesting than they really should be. The close-ups of people that pull back and then pan across the screen seem to tell a story within the story.

 

 

I used Adobe Premiere Pro to create pan and zoom effects. Audio is added to support the illusion of motion.
